Thoughts in the shape of a poem...

September

A hazy half moon spies
in a translucent blue sky.
Maple trees sway
in a warm breeze.
Amidst the soft rustles
cicadas crescendo,
blissful and melancholy.
It's the final curtain call,
the withering has begun.
